Helping you feel at home
Our Summer Course is residential only; this which means that all Summer Course students live on the campus. We have several boarding houses in which boys and girls live separately, organised by age. A teacher lives on every floor of each boarding house. The teachers take care of you. They will help you settle in, build connections with others and they always have your happiness, safety and well-being at heart.
Rooms
You'll live in a room with one or two other students of the same age and gender but from another nationality. This is because we want you to get to know a different culture and broaden your horizons. You will be part of a community which promotes mutual respect and which values everyone as an individual.
If you're planning to come with a friend, we are happy to put you on the same boarding floor (if you are the same age), rather than in the same room. That way, you can be near each other but also get to know others and make new friends.
Rooms are very large and spacious and many have views over the Lake and the Alps. They are all comfortable and modern, with the highest quality bedding. Most students share a bathroom (3-4 per bathroom). The bathrooms are large, modern and spacious and are literally just across the corridor or a step outside the room. There are a small number of private en-suite bedrooms in one building only. You don't need to bring bedding or bath/hand towels as we provide these.
Single rooms are not available in the Summer Course.
Meals
You'll eat with your friends and staff in the dining room, unless we are going on a picnic or barbecue. We have a choice of menus available and always have a vegetarian option, a salad bar and a selection of fruits. If you have a special dietary need, our school nurse willl contact you to discuss your needs and she'll talk with our chef to determine whether or not we can meet your needs.

Our families always comment that the school feels more like a home than a school. This is important to us, because we want you to feel at home during your time with us.We use several different boarding houses during the Summer Course. We cannot accept special requests for a particular house or for a private bathroom, since the organisational logistics depend on the overall enrolments / nationality mix.
Villa
Downstairs in Villa, there are classrooms and upstairs, a boarding house, spread over three floors. The rooms on the third floor have characteristic beams and are very cosy. All rooms are light, modern and spacious and nearly all have views over the lake and mountains. A cosy lounge area is in the attic. Students share bathrooms (3-4 students per bathroom) on their floor.
Château
Château is the main administrative building and also houses some classrooms and our libary. The boarding accommodation is on two floors, with around 10 students per floor. Nearly all bedrooms have views over the lake and mountains. A few rooms have ensuite bathrooms, for others, the shared bathroom (3-4 students) is just a step outside the room.
Monribeau
Monribeau is the largest boarding house. It is an important building in the school as it is where the dining room is located! The boarding accommodation is on four floors with north facing and lake view rooms. All the rooms are very large and spacious and a lounge and kitchen area is available. Students share bathrooms (3-4 students per bathroom) on their floor.
Pierre Grise
Pierre Grise underwent a complete renovation of bedrooms and bathrooms in 2025. It houses around 12 students over two floors and is warm and cosy, with a lovely lounge area and large balcony. Students share bathrooms (3-4 students per bathroom).
Graveline
Graveline is the smallest boarding house and is a very cosy place to live. It has a homely feel and has a large lounge area and lovely private garden. Students share bathrooms (3-4 students per bathroom).
